This year's Colin Bloomfield Charity Cricket Cup match raised over £3,000 for both Derby County Community Trust and Holbrook School for Autism.
The event was organised by local Spondon resident Neil Bennett who has arranged the exhibition match between Derby County All Stars and Spondon Cricket Club for the 5th year.
The Derby County team included Rob Kozyk, Craig Ramage, Kevin Hector, Roger Davis, Martin Taylor, Michele Johnson, Dick Pratley, Mark Stallard and Sam Rush.
Derby City Council Major Linda Winters joined to celebrate the success of the event and commented on what a fantastic community spirit Spondon has!
